Fulton’s best volleyball season since 2010 ended in sectionals Thursday at Fulton High School, falling to the Blair Oaks Falcons, the reigning state champions, in three sets.

The Hornets’ previous two district title-winning teams — 2011-12 — also saw their season conclude in sectionals.

Fulton’s seniors, Mariah Reed — Fulton’s career kills record holder — and Mackenzie Wilson, played their final high school game. Reed finished with a team-high seven kills, and Wilson had 281 digs.
